Troy Burrell

Troy Burrell was a four-year football letterwinner (2008-11), who
concluded his career with the Wayne State University record for
receptions (187).

He finished second in school history in both receiving yards (3,132) and
touchdown receptions (27) and was fifth in average yards per catch
(16.75). Burrell was ninth in all-purpose yards (3,299) and 10th in
scoring (168 pts).

Burrell finished with a 38-game reception streak and recorded 12 100-
yard receiving games. He was twice a First Team All-GLIAC selection.

As a senior, Burrell was voted an All-American by four different
organizations. In 2011, he set WSU single-season records for
receptions (87) and receiving yards (1,633).

In 2010, he ranked second in the GLIAC in receiving yards (900), and
fifth in receptions (57). As a sophomore, Burrell was second in the
GLIAC in average yards per catch (18.3).

Burrell was on the Academic Honor Roll all 10 semesters and received
membership into the NFF Hampshire Honor Society.

A native of Port Huron, Burrell spent time on the Detroit Lions practice
squad after earning his bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (Exercise &
Sports Science) in 2012.

With WILLPower Training’s one-on-one personal training we’ll start with a fitness consultation in order to address any limitations, health concerns, and also to identify your personal fitness goals. Once we’ve established your baseline (which will include height, body fat percentage, weight and measurements), we’ll administer a fitness screening in order to establish the best methods to optimize your results and ensure the most successful outcome possible.

By incorporating cardiovascular exercises, strength training, and a detailed nutrition plan, we’ll work together to meet your specific goals and needs.
